Born in San Francisco, Stephen moved to Paris, France when he was 16 years old.  He returned to the states and graduated from UC Berkeley, with a degree in economics and then became an analyst with a Beverly Hills real estate company that syndicated over 50 properties in Texas and Southern California.  After two years, he became junior partner and eventually worked his way up to principal with the firm. 

Stephen has lived in Silver Lake for over 20 years. He is actively involved in numerous charitable activities, most recently, as co-chairperson of the Annual Fund for the International School that his 13-year-old daughter attends, with campuses in Los Feliz, Burbank and Pasadena.  

Stephen is a “bon vivant” and brings a certain “joie de vivre” to every relationship. Most importantly, he is as good a listener, as he is a raconteur.
